Well it was kind of accidental really. Some great reaction/comments about my cover designs led to requests for artwork prints.

All handy stuff for those who like to read and take notes!

A big thank you to Robert Wingfield for all his help and Darius Stransky of ‘The Kings Jew’ fame, for his referral.

Coincidentally, as ‘Wandering Minstrels’ enters it’s third Edition, Julie A Miles at ‘The Hope Chest Reviews’ blog has posted today a lovely review, by one of her team. Please support her blog and checkout it out here. A lot of fine reading advice there. Many many thanks to Julie and Delores Goodrick Beggs.

…the first week of February hopefully on Amazon.

It’s Here!! Especial Amigo!

Are you enjoying ‘Wolf Hall’, the BBC’s Hilary Mantel serialisation, following all the usual suspects in the Court of King Henry VIII?
This period has been written about at length, some might say, done to death, in the way of, arguably three of Henry’s wives.
But rarely mentioned is Eustachio Chapuys, a Frenchman appointed as Spanish Ambassador by the Emperor Charles, to keep an eye on the ousted Katherine of Aragon as Henry, (fat Harry behind his back), failing to divorce her, tried to starve, some even postulate, poison her out of the way.
This is the story of probably the finest Ambassador to ever live. A man who pushed new boundaries of spying and intrigue to protect ‘his’ queen. And yet a man whose diplomatic skills, left him unsuspected in the most suspicious environment of all, a good friend of Thomas Cromwell and considered a friend by Henry. No mean feat!
Spying and intrigue in earlier days. An unsung hero. Until NOW.

Especial Amigo

Our thanks go today to Annette Kristynik, who reviews for two blogs, ‘Impressions in Ink’, and ‘A Well Watered Garden’.

We were very happy when she agreed to read St Bartholomew’s man. She has an unusual review style which describes a  story perfectly without giving too much away, but at the same time she adds little extra gems from her own substantial knowledge gained from years of reading. I, in particular when in reader mode,  have found this style especially helpfull when deciding if a book is for me or not.
